| Prints are offered as Prints Only we recommend you have your
prints matted and framed at you local frame shop using acid-free"
and UV protected glass. They should be matted and framed as
described above to assure longevity. Proper framing is critical to
maximizing the presentation and archival life of the print. |
The prints are produced using an all digital process. The pictures
are taken with a digital camera which assures a high resolution
picture comparable to film. The resulting image is processed
digitally to optimize the color and contrast for the characteristics
of the paper. The prints are printed on a high resolution printer
using fine quality archival paper. Digital processing is limited to
that necessary to produce an image that is as close as possible to
the perceived memory of the scene. Each image is reviewed and color
corrected by a skilled technician.
The prints are produce using the professional-grade Epson 2000
printer with the latest inks on Epson's Glossy, Matte or Semi Gloss paper. This is
projected to have an archival life of over 100 years when framed and
placed under UV-protected glass, based on information from Epson America, Inc. |
It will take a few days to produce your prints since are made when
they are ordered. Prints are shipped by FedEx or UPS depending on your purchase. Shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii
will be higher.
